You can expect average high temperatures of around 24°C (75°F) - perfect for spending time at the beach and discovering the region’s natural attractions - before dipping to around 13°C (55°F) in the evenings. I’d definitely recommend packing a light jacket or sweater if you’re venturing out at night.
While the Atlantic Ocean has started to cool, the sea temperatures are still around 20°C (68°F), meaning swimming is definitely on the cards. If you’re serious about your surfing, I’d suggest making the half-hour drive north to Taghazout, which is surrounded by some of Morocco’s best breaks. By November, the Atlantic swells are starting to ramp up and this is when legendary Anchor Point really comes to life!
When you're ready to take a break from the sun and sand, a stroll through Souk El Had offers a treasure trove of traditional crafts, spices and souvenirs. Alternatively, ride the cable car to the Agadir Kasbah, a historical fortress that has been partially restored after it was damaged during the 1960 earthquake.
