Find flights to Morocco from Europe
Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport and Marrakech Menara Airport are the main aviation gateways to Morocco, with numerous carriers offering direct flights from European cities. For more info about visiting both cities, check out my Ultimate Travel Guide to Casablanca or my Ultimate Travel Guide to Marrakech.
Air France has flights to both Casablanca and Marrakech from Paris while TAP Air Portugal flies from Lisbon. Turkish Airlines has flights from Istanbul and TUI Fly Belgium has services to both cities from Brussels, Bologna and Rotterdam. Additionally, Royal Air Maroc connects to several European cities, including Amsterdam, Venice and Seville.

Agadir Al Massira International Airport is connected to Basel, Geneva and Nice by easyJet while Eurowings has seasonal flights to Dusseldorf and Prague. Ryanair has flights to Agadir from Tenerife, Cologne and Krakow, as well as flights to Fes-Saïss Airport from Barcelona, Rome and Madrid.
Find flights to Morocco from the UK and Ireland

Find flights to Morocco from the U.S.A. and Canada
Royal Air Maroc offers the most direct route to Casablanca from North America with nonstop flights from New York and Montreal. For travellers not located near these cities, the best options are connecting through New York or Montreal on partner airlines like Delta or Air Canada. Otherwise, flying through major European hubs on carriers like Air France, Lufthansa and Iberia is possible but requires a layover and plane change.
Find flights to Morocco from Australia and New Zealand
As there are no direct flights from Australia and New Zealand to Morocco, passengers must fly on multi-leg itineraries, transitioning through hub airports in Europe or the Middle East. Of the various indirect options, flying with Emirates or Etihad through Dubai or Abu Dhabi is usually the most convenient for Australasian travellers. These airlines provide a wide selection of departure airports across Australia and New Zealand.
The alternative is booking flights on European carriers like Lufthansa or Air France, which also serve Morocco, or purchasing co-branded tickets via partnerships between Qantas/Air New Zealand and their European airline allies.

Find flights to Morocco from other African cities
Royal Air Maroc has flight connections to Casablanca from several African hubs, including Bamako, Dakar, Accra, Lagos and Tunis. If you’re flying from a southern African destination, the most convenient way to fly to Morocco is usually with Emirates via Dubai, Egyptair via Cairo or Air France via Paris. While these massive, global carriers provide comfort and familiarity, the journey often requires lengthy layovers.
If you’re travelling from South Africa, South African Airways provides nonstop flights from Johannesburg to Dakar in Senegal, from where you can connect to Casablanca on a Royal Air Maroc flight.
Find flights to Morocco from Asia
As there are no direct flights from Asia to Morocco, travellers need to connect through the Middle East or Europe. Of the major international carriers, Emirates via Dubai tends to offer the most convenient routing for many due to its vast network. Another good option is Egyptair via Cairo or Air France, which connects to Paris from numerous Asian cities, including Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Delhi.

Travelling to Morocco by ferry
In recent years, most ferries to Morocco dock at the new Tanger Med port, which is located 40 kilometres east of Tangier. Free shuttle buses provide transport into the city centre. Only the high-speed catamaran from Tarifa still docks at Tangier's old port, allowing you to walk directly into town.
It’s important to be aware that on arrival, you need to comply with local passport control and immigration procedures. Upon boarding the ferry, be sure to obtain a disembarkation form. Fill this form out completely and bring it, along with your passport, to the Moroccan immigration official aboard the ferry. The official will review your documents and stamp your passport, authorising your entry into the country. When the ferry docks in Tangier, you must show your stamped passport to the Moroccan officials at the immigration desk before you can officially enter the country.
When departing Tangier by ferry back to Spain, there is again paperwork to complete. Be sure to obtain both an embarkation form and a departure card at the ferry terminal and have these documents stamped by the port police before boarding your ferry.
