5 Best Luxury Hotels in Chefchaouen

With its highly Instagrammable blue-hued streets, Chefchaouen is rapidly becoming one of Morocco’s most popular tourist destinations. It can easily be visited on a day trip from Tangier, Fes or Casablanca but I always love staying a night or two when I visit to soak up its charms once the crowds have left for the day.

In truth, Chefchaouen doesn’t have the ultra-luxurious hotels you’ll find in places like Marrakech but there are some wonderful riads and dars that offer high-end stays. While some have five-star facilities like onsite spas, others deliver elevated experiences through their exemplary service. Many occupy traditional buildings that have been lovingly restored, complete with gorgeous architectural features.

In this article, I’ll share with you 5 of the best luxury hotels in Chefchaouen, including everything from boutique riads to family-friendly apartments.

Dar Jasmine is also notable for its on-site table d'hôte, which showcases the very best of regional Moroccan specialties using seasonal ingredients.
