Framed by the rugged peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley is one of the most popular day trips from Marrakech. But in my opinion, this peaceful rural region is worth spending a night or two to soak up its natural beauty, temperate climate and Amazigh cultural heritage.

Thankfully, there are plenty of wonderful places to stay in Ourika if you want to experience the valley once the day trippers have left. Rather than simply being somewhere to rest your head, many are destinations in themselves, with sparkling pools and sun-dappled terraces offering incredible Atlas Mountains views.

In this article, I’ll share 10 of the best places to stay in Ourika Valley, from budget-friendly guesthouses to adults-only riads and sustainably-run dars. I’ve also included a luxury villa offering exclusive stays for extended families, groups of friends and retreats.

To learn more about visiting this region, either overnight or on a day trip from Marrakech, check out my Ultimate Travel Guide to Ourika.
