Tips for finding the best hotels in Ait Benhaddou

When searching for the ideal hotel in Ait Benhaddou, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure you book the perfect stay. Where you choose to stay in the area will depend largely on if you have your own vehicle and how much you want to spend.

Many of the best hotels in Ait Benhaddou are located within walking distance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, allowing you to explore it at your leisure. You can visit the ancient ksar in the early morning before the day-trippers arrive. Then head out again in the evening once they have departed.

While most Ait Benhaddou hotels offer meals onsite, those located in the village enjoy easy access to independent restaurants.

Several budget-friendly Ait Benhaddou hotels are located a short drive away, making them perfect for guests with their own vehicles. Many are surrounded by wonderful views across the desert terrain and are notable for their exceptional hospitality.

If the hotel isn’t within walking distance of restaurants, check that they serve meals in the evening if you don’t want to be driving at night.

A highlight of staying at a hotel in Ait Benhaddou is the earthen architecture, with many inspired by kasbah designs. For the most memorable experience, seek out boutique riads or kasbahs that have been carefully restored.

Despite this nod to history, these Ait Benhaddou heritage hotels come complete with modern amenities such as air-conditioning and swimming pools. Always double check what facilities the hotel offers before booking!

Lastly, be sure to read reviews from previous guests before you book a hotel in Ait Benhaddou. This will give you a good idea if the property lives up to its online description and may provide tidbits of information about the stay you won’t find elsewhere.
